Hi friends, The fourth term is quickly drawing to a close and the festive season is fast approaching. It has been an epic month and a half so far. I was in Ireland working with the Maths Week Team to visit schools and do public events. What a wonderful privilege to spread the joy of maths around the world. Last week it was Science Week in Ireland and I got to run a bunch of events online which went very well. We have started up some new online classes in New York with a local school in Connecticut and we have quite a few sessions with international schools planned for Dec. Last month it was world Skypathon day and I got to connect with a few different classrooms around the world. A few of my local students enjoyed playing mystery skype with their international peers. We have quite a few bookings for year- end functions, birthday parties, quiz nights and Bingo sessions. The last month and a half has been filled with Maths Olympiad processing and the results for the South African leg are available. Look below for more information. Over the next week or so we will be dropping off some of our end of year prizes and a few trophies too. We will keep you posted with the names of the trophy winners soon. Sleepover We will be looking to run another Sleepover in January of 2024. Watch this space. ONLINE CLASSES Our fifth Cycle of Online classes will be coming to an end next week. Scavenger Hunt We will be arranging a fun Family Scavenger Hunt for the December holidays. It is scheduled for Friday16 Dec at 1pm and end on Monday 18 Nov at 5pm.
