Hi friends,
After the sold out events with Prof Arthur Benjamin, I am very excited to
announce the arrival of Janet Ivey form Janet's Planet in March. We are
delighted to announce that we have 2 Cape Town venues (one in the Southern
Suburbs and one in the northern suburbs) booked for the public to attend a
presentation by this incredible presenter. I have had the privilege of
working with her on space camps in the USA and at the Humans to Mars Summit
in Washington DC. She is regularly on CNN to chat about the latest events
in space and her show will appeal to all the space fans out there. We have
also made the show a little earlier so that the junior space fans can enjoy
the show. Bring your cellphone with as there will be a fun Kahoot quiz at
the end and the top three participants will each win a cool prize.
With a list of achievements like this, you know you will not want to miss
her space talks!
- Creator and CEO of Janet's Planet, Inc.
- President of Explore Mars
- American Astronautical Society's 2022 recipient of the Sally K Ride
Excellence in Education Award.
- Board of Advisors Orbital Assembly
- NASA JPL Solar System Ambasador
- Award-winning Science Educator
- Author of Unsung Genius Book Series, Celebrating Unsung Women in
Science
- 12 Regional Emmy Awards
- 5 Gracie Awards
- STEM-FLORIDA Award for Exploring Microgravity 35 minute documentary
for students 3-8
- Board of Governors for the National Space Society
- 2 Tedx Talks, AWE Inspired Science & How To Inhabit Your Very Own
Planet #PlanetYou
- Self-Appointed Guardian & Shepherdess of the Next Generation of
Space Explorers
We do have tickets available for the two venues and they will operate on a
first-come-first-served basis. Tickets can be found via livingmaths.com or
