Hi there On Monday 6 November at about 630pm, I will be interviewing Kirsten Neuschäfer via Zoom. Kirsten is a remarkable South African sailor and she is the 2022 winner of the Golden Globe race around the world. This is a solo race around the world with no stops along the way. No modern technology is allowed to help you navigate. You have to use an older model boat and it has to be a certain size. Can you imagine sailing solo for 8 months at sea ? So many things could have gone wrong! Not only did she win the race but managed to rescue a competitor along the way. This extraordinary athlete will be answering questions via Zoom.
